R oss-shire Engineering has rebranded as RSE as it enters an "exciting new chapter" following a change in its parent company. The Scottish specialist engineering service company, which works across the water, renewables, oil and gas and industrial sectors, is seeking to increase its work south of the border. "Our rebranding represents ongoing growth and progress within the company as we embrace a change of parent, moving from Global Energy Group to Envoy and Partners Limited," RSE director Jamie MacGregor told WET News. "The majority shareholding of both Global Energy Group and Envoy and Partners remains with the MacGregor family, and Mitsui and Company retain their equity in each. With growing demand for our specialist modular construction and MEICA services, this change will enable Ross-shire Engineering to provide a more dedicated focus upon our key markets, particularly as we identify business opportunity, acquisitions and openings for expansion in England." Scottish Water is RSE's biggest client but the company also has an active framework agreement with Yorkshire Water and recently secured a contract to supply three modular water treatment works to Northumbrian Water. ICG aims to eliminate the illness and injury caused by these risks by 2025, not just reduce it, and will be developed to get industry-wide support and implementation. The actions will include standardised measures to assess current performance and chart improvements. Many suppliers have volunteered to support the initiative, and other clients and suppliers are invited to sign up through CECA. Tideway director of health, safety and wellbeing Steve Hails, who also serves as the ICG's health, safety and wellbeing working group chairman, said: "Our research signposts the key health, safety and wellbeing risks that our sector faces. We are working collaboratively to make sure we crack down on these risks. "If you want to play a part in securing game-changing improvements to the industry, I would strongly encourage you to volunteer your support for this important work."
