Jim Davey will join the board of Clancy Docwra as operations director. Having previously headed up the firm's key Anglian Water alliance frame- works, Davey will work along- side existing operations director Matt Bailey to manage perfor- mance across the business' major utility frameworks. Ronan Clancy will become associate director for Anglian Water, working together with Davey, who will remain respon- sible for the business' alliance frameworks at board level. Clancy joined the business in 2010 and moves from his exist- ing role as associate director for future business. At the same time, the group has announced the appoint- ment of two new associate direc- tors and a head of performance management. Lee Cuthbert joins as associ- ate director working with North- ern Power Grid, where the busi- ness delivers engineering services across the North East of England, while Roger Culley will become associate director overseeing Clancy Docwra's multi-utility division. Stephanie Downs also joins the group as head of perfor- mance management. Downs was previously head of supply chain for Thames Water's Infra- structure Alliance. The new appointments are Clancy Developments and Clancy Plant. "These appointments form part of our broader strategy to restructure and consolidate our leadership team across our business, ensuring we are well- positioned for future growth," Cannon said. "Jim's appointment will bring fresh thinking and operational expertise into our board. In her new role, Schefer will be responsible for business strategy, operations manage- ment, delivery of professional services and financial performance. "Cath brings her considerable skills and experience in opera- tional and client management," Stantec president and chief executive officer Gord Johnston said. Steele, who replaces Craig McGilvray, joins Balfour Beatty from Network Rail, where he was commercial and development director. Previously, he was pro- gramme director at Crossrail and head of power, communications and cooling upgrades for the Lon- don Underground. As a chartered mechanical engineer, Steele has a deep knowledge of the UK infrastruc- ture market, with over 19 years' experience providing strategic direction to large cross-industry and multi-discipline teams. Mark Bullock, chief executive officer of Balfour Beatty's rail and utilities business, said: "I am delighted to welcome Mat- thew to my leadership team. "His extensive experience in delivering critical infrastructure projects in regulated markets will strengthen our client rela- tionships and further enhance our capability in the sector."
