www.wwtonline.co.uk | DECEMBER 2018 | 31 Water Now Aqua 125E Water Now has launched the new Aqua 125E water purification system, which is designed to provide clean water in environ- ments where commercial power is available but guaranteed clean drinking water is not. It is based on the same water purification tech- nology as the Aqua 125 (pictured) and connects to commercial electrical power, which means the new system can run 24/7. Water Now manufactures water purification systems that utilise patented 'Flameless Heating' technology to generate potable water from virtually any water source. Water Now can remove both biological and mineral impurities without the use of complex filtering systems, or the use of membranes or the filter media that need to be changed on a regular basis. OTHER TOP PICKS FOR WATER TREATMENT NEXT MONTH: water networks THE DETAILS SUEZ ZeeWeed 700B-RMS ● ultrafi ltration rackless membrane system● developed for uses including drinking water treatment ● reduced footprint and costs What is it for? Its UF membranes are aimed at both industrial and municipal applications and can be used for drinking water, seawater reverse osmosis pre-treatment and tertiary treatment for water reuse. It is suitable for both new and retrofit projects. What's good about it? When compared to most rack types, the required footprint needed for installation is reduced (>50%) and the cost of the system is lowered (>50%) since there is no need for a steel rack or feed, permeate or reject pipes. The 700B-RMS is an upgrade to the existing 700B membrane system, and the RMS benefits from the strength of the SevenBore fibre – more than 10 times that of single fibres – and increased membrane surface area. It also features inside-out flow orientation, which eliminates the air scouring step and additional related equipment. What do they say? Kevin Cassidy, global leader, engineered systems, said: "SUEZ Water Technologies & Solutions has a long history of offering solutions for the toughest industrial, commercial and municipal water challenges. ZeeWeed 700B-RMS continues that tradition and provides plant operators the advantage of water treatment with a smaller footprint and less capital cost." The Knowledge Water treatment Eaton MAX-LOAD coreless fi lter bags Eaton has launched its MAX- LOAD coreless filter bags to extend its range of versatile filter bags. They are made of melt- blown material and suitable for applications involving high reten- tion ratings, such as water treat- ment, filtration of bulk and fine chemicals or metal cleaning. The rigid, graduated material structure has a depth of over 18mm and so offers a protective shield against hard, metallic, as well as deform- able, gel-like contaminants. For widely varying operating condi- tions, reliability can be increased through an outer mesh cover of polyamide 6.6 with a thickness of 10μm. MAX-LOAD filter bags can be used in Eaton TOPLINE single bag filter housings and MAXILINE multi-bag fi lter housings, which are designed for a large variety of applications. AmeriWater PRO4 reverse osmosis systems AmeriWater has launched its new PRO4 Series of reverse osmosis systems. The PRO4 series is capable of produc- ing fl ow rates ranging from 2,400 up to 19,200 gallons a day (around 9,000 to 73,000 litres). Available as a standard or deluxe system, the series is designed for use in the com- mercial and industrial sectors and a wide range of applica- tions. For the standard system this includes makeup water, humidifi cation and spot free rinse, and the deluxe system can be used for central sterile departments and laboratories. The PRO4 Series' innovative modular design also means it can be produced at a reason- able price and delivered with minimal lead times. PRODUCT OF THE MONTH
