CELEBRATING EXCELLENCE This month I'm delighted to announce that we're launching the inaugural Network Awards – an event that will recognise the good work taking place across the UK's energy networks, their supply chains and stakeholders. 2018 has been a signi• cant year for the UK's gas, power and heat networks. A once in a generation transformation of the energy system is taking place with collaboration and innovation at the heart of it. This pace of change is happening against a backdrop of a changing regulatory environment, so there has never been a better time to recognise and celebrate successes across the industry. The UK's gas, power and heat networks are going through a period of unprecedented change and the Awards will o- er an opportunity to showcase the good work taking place across the sector. At a time of disruptive transformation in the nation's energy system it is important to recognise the technical and game changing technologies and services that continue to move the industry forward.
